Oh, girl... Season 4 was so heart-wrenching. And, how much does Bill Scully suck? What a d-bag.
OMG, razors in my soul. But you know, as much as Mulder needed her and loved her, you have to admit that there were times when he should have told her to go lie down and concentrate on getting better instead of sending her out on missions that got her thrown down staircases while she's fighting cancer. Bill sort of said some things that I, at least, was partially thinking. And Mulder knew Bill wasn't just being a dick, that at least some of what he was saying was true.
But that's a part of what makes s4 so gut wrenching. The truth of it, and the love.
Also, was I imagining things or did Skinner have a thing for Scully? I thought, when she collapsed finally, that he was two seconds from sweeping her up into his arms and to the hospital himself. And the deal he made with Krycek........oh! For fic purposes only, I'm a big ho for Scully/Krycek. I thought you should know. :P
