My favorite part was all the bite scenes, because who am I but a girl with a serious bite kink? Vampire movies tend to do them so overdramatically, though, I get second hand embarrassment. Jerry, otoh, umph. It's not about the girl, it's about her having something he wants, so she's completely incidental. With Doris, it was the way he kind of cradled her with his legs and leaned over her, drawing out the moment because he loves the scent of her fear so much (he's big on the scents people give off, I noticed), and then his teeth just sort of come out and he latches on. It's understated. And what makes me care about Doris the go-go dancer is when Jerry is feeding on her, and you can tell it hurts so much, but she keeps her eyes on Charley and lifts her finger to her lips in a shushing motion. Doris was a brave, brave girl. She wasn't just another nameless stripper, she was Charley's neighbor and she knew Charley was her only way out of Jerry's house so she takes somewhat charge of her own rescue by keeping him from revealing himself. I loved that small little part.
But then, I seemed to have loved all the parts. :)
It did produce some ideas for Persephone, actually. I was thinking about writing something about Amy going back to Jerry's lair after he's slain, because she can still remember what it was like under his thrall and then I realized I was already writing something like that, LOL. So yeah, batteries are on and humming.

And doesn't that sound seriously dirty?? :)
