The suckiness, she continues

My daughter's stomach bug from last weekend felled me and my husband yesterday.

A more pathetic night was never had. Vomiting, groaning, headaches, fever.

The funnest part was my son's apparent insomnia.

Really, this crap can go away at any time.

Oh dear...have you tried that horrible milk of magnesia stuff? It tastes like crap but it works miracles.

:hugs you:

No, I didn't. From past experience, I've found that it's best to just throw up. That's the best way to get rid of whatever it is in my stomach that makes it feel so septic. It worked. The worst of it went away after I yakked. :D

When I get sick, I typically can't sleep at all, at least, nothing of good quality. I'll typically doze in and out of sleep, and about all I can do is groan/moan in pain/self-pity. It makes for a very boring few days, let me tell you.

Yeah, it totally wasn't a good night. *sigh*

As I drove home yesterday trying not to yak, I kept thinking that at least he'd fall asleep fairly early because he rarely sleeps during the day in daycare. Never more than an hour. Ha! Wouldn't you know that this would be the day that he took a two and a half hour nap late in the afternoon? And according to the 'daily report' we get, he was also very energetic.

OMG. *cries*

Oh, noes! Are you getting the feeling that this little bugger is finding a little bit of satisfaction with your illness and his ability to make it worse. ;)

You know babies, it's all about them. ;)

Of course, when you get sick, hubby is sick too. And you know the boys get when they get the slightest little thing. And of course, baby has to be the rebel.

I think you need a vacation. And stat.

Oh, you should have heard the moaning..good Christ, you would have thought he was dying or something. *eye roll*

I think you need a vacation

If I could clone myself to stay behind and take care of things in my absence, I'd hope a plane in a hot second. A hot second.

The funniest part? You have a sick sense of humor.

Sorry about the aches and pains!
