Okay

I love Gillian Anderson. Her portrayal of Scully is iconic and memorable and other things too numerous to mention. But I was reading a gossip rag at work yesterday, possibly In Touch, and now I'm sure she's doing the bad drugs or something.

She named her boys Oscar and Felix.

I just -

Wow.

*shakes head, wanders to a place where things make sense*

*whispers* I like those names.

It's better than Apple or Pilot Inspektor or Audiophonic or Zuma. They are nice, normal, old school names.

In and of themselves, I kind of like Oscar myself - not so much Felix - but not enough time has passed to name two males living in the same house together Oscar and Felix....

Old people will be asking them for half their life if Felix is the neat freak and if Oscar is the slob.

But you're right. Better than Apple or Pilot Inspektor.

I think that for the most part, the parents MIGHT know Odd Couple but I don't think the kids at school would.

I was talking to someone about I Love Lucy last week and they asked me what that was. Kids today aren't really into anything put out before 1995.

That's. Depressing.

Hey, don't you have a task I've been waiting for allllll day?? *stink eye*

[identity profile] xlivvielockex.livejournal.com 2009-03-22 01:35 am (UTC)(link)
Um, don't you have some smut for me that I've been waiting for as payment for services rendered this morning? LOL

And I'm working on it. But I didn't feel so hot so I went to lay down and that nap turned into like a 4 hour sleepathon. And now it's dinner.

I'm trying to get pictures and quotes together, making the pics look good (clean up the darkness). When I do something, I do it right!

[identity profile] samsom.livejournal.com 2009-03-22 01:42 am (UTC)(link)
The smut....is less smutty than I'd thought it'd be. But it is nearly finish nonetheless. I just have to pretty up the last part cuz Debbie, aka Harsh Mistress, told me not to be lazy. Cuz I was being lazy and tried hiding it and she....somehow saw right through it. Bitch.

Anyway, your OCD will be working in my favor, I guess. I can't wait!

No one in the entertainment industry should be allowed to name their own children. They're all insane.

Seriously. Even the seemingly down-to-earth ones, of which I thought GA was one, seem to be affected by this insanity.

There's a billion to one chance she named them after relatives - hers and/or his. Favorite uncle Oscar?

Btw, I'm not harsh. I am, however, your mistress. *mwah*

[identity profile] samsom.livejournal.com 2009-03-23 03:22 am (UTC)(link)
And if I had an Uncle Boris and an Aunt Natasha?

Still not a good enough reason.

No, mistress is too old fashioned, I've decided. Instead, I'm calling you my lovvvahhh!

[identity profile] damnskippytoo.livejournal.com 2009-03-23 03:32 am (UTC)(link)
I dunno. It would be to me if they were the only relatives I loved and respected. Not likely that's the case, but still...

I read this is my email and it looked like you were call me "lowah" and I thought, "Is that the name of the magical hamburger that Wesley talked to"? I must say, I was insulted. Then, of course, I figured out it was a bunch of v's put together instead. So, yeah, I need my eyes checked.

[identity profile] samsom.livejournal.com 2009-03-23 04:07 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, you do.

I didn't even know that hamburger had a name. I was too busy wanting to kill Wes for being a bonehead moron.

I'd consider Boris and Natasha or Oscar and Felix if the relatives left me a boatload of money.

Heck. I'd name them Burt and Ernie in that case. they can always change it later.
