Tortured and dorky and breathlessly good looking, potentially evil, cheap as hell, heroic, fallible, childish, horrifyingly bad at dancing, clumsy, tongue-tied, strong, forever cursed (not with losing his soul, but with losing everything he loves), resolute, and lonely as hell. All in one gorgeous package.

Angel is delightful but I guess I've just always been drawn more to the supporting cast. Still, as half of my OTP forever and ever he earns my undying love.

Also, the whole Season Two arc with Darla just breaks me every time. I am rewatching right now and just got past "Redefinition" and Christ.

I love Angel, I really do. I mean, I love Spike too, but Angel is so pretty when he's bleeding, and I love how much he learns that there's no greater plan to it all and how every thing he does is an act in itself rather than steps to a greater redemption.

And he's hot when he's pissed, especially when he's pissed at Cordelia.
