and he picked up a book and randomly started reading Latin from it and the book caught fire, and after he puts it out by shutting it, Giles says that line in the most dry manner outside of Britain. It was great. Jane Espensen can write comedy like no other writer.
And yeah, S4 was overall crappy due to the Initiative thing and Riley. I didn't dislike Riley, I just didn't find him interesting. Not until he started paying vamps to bite him. Then of course, he left. And Adam wasn't the most charismatic of Big Bads. But the individual eps were stood out. It's weird.
