30 Day Writing Meme Day 2

2 – Name the fandoms you've written in, and how much you've written in that fandom, and if you still write in it.

I wrote about five Scully/Krycek ficlets, none of them online. They were mostly my very first attempts at actual fan fiction and I haven’t written anything more in that ‘verse in probably ten years or so. I’ve written some Xena/Ares and Ares/Gabrielle in the X:WP fandom in the last few years, mostly for fun. I think maybe about ten to fifteen fics. I will still occasionally revisit these pairings when I need a break from the Buffyverse. But the Buffyverse is my home. Once I found it, I haven’t really strayed from it often or long. I write Cordy/Angel like it’s my job, over 100 fics and ficlets. Back in the day when I first dipped my toes in the sandbox, I wrote a handful of Spuffy fics – most of them badly and with no regard to Spike’s actual character. They’re in the Buffy Fiction Archive under Queen Mab, if anyone’s curious. http://archive.shriftweb.org/

I think I’m always gonna write Buffyverse fan fic, probably when I’m eighty. There’s just so much about this ‘verse that’s fun to explore, from canon to AU and back. I may have gigantic issues with Joss Whedon but I do so love the world Mutant Enemy and Dave Greenwalt developed and expanded.

One of these days, I might have to hunt down your Xena/Ares stuff. If I ever had time.

I'm with you though. Every time I try to leave, I get pulled back in. LOL

No hunting required. Whenever you have time, I'll point the way. :)

And yeah, good or not, the Buffyverse is IT.
