I'm raging

This week's People is featuring vanished children. I got as far as reading the first boxed article - 10 years old, disappeared walking ten blocks home after a friend's mom said she couldn't sleep over.

I don't get it. I don't get it. There are human animals out there whose purpose in life is to grab children when and where they can. Why make it easier for them? Why didn't that mother make sure the girl got home safe? Where was her mother? The adults in that child's life failed so hard. And a monster got her.

Her name is Linsdey. She disappeared June 26 in Washington.

They still haven't found her.
