Feeling nostalgic

samsomSigh. How is it that I can be as old as I am (34), and as progressively cynical as I am (bordering on Grumpy Old Fart), and still get that tight feeling of *excitement* in the pit of my stomach when I hear the Star Wars theme?
It's like I'm 12 again, and seeing it again for the first time (on Showtime), and feeling my hands shake again - just like the last 20 odd years hadn't passed by.
What ever it is, I hope it goes on, because I *never* want to hear that theme, and *not* feel that excitement in the pit of my stomach.
