This is only my second post and as I'm pretty darn sure I've got exactly one person checking on it -
and Starlet is possibly the warmest, most welcoming person I've met online as yet.

I still have no idea how to go about this live journal thingy. No idea how to cut tag, no idea how to link, or upload icons.
Is there a store somewhere?
Anyway, I'm going to be making mistakes and hopefully I won't run roughshod over people and feelings. But at heart I'm a babbler and random things go through my head, so it's damned nice having a place to put it.
I should mention I'm a shipper in most circumstances. In fact, I recall dimly trying to ship Jerry and Elaine the few times I watched Seinfeld in the '90s. So I enjoy talking about my 'ships, both past ones and the ones I'm going down with:). However, I'm not the kind that expects happy endings, or even want them with some couples, and I'm not into declarations of undying love. I'm more into showing the love through actions and subtle glances. I don't bash other 'ships and though there are those characters I wish never to lay eyes on again, I don't bash characters - just choices and behavior.
I just wish I'd done this three years ago during the height of my fangirl love.

Also, you need to talk to me about Something Blue. makd said something on tesla321's "S Curve" fic about learning something about kissing from Buffy and Spike in SB. So now I'm curious. And I know you'll not only know, you can get me totally kinked up about it!

Well hello, I've come via Starlet's journal to check you out and say hi.

Hi.

I am psychofilly, a long term friend of Kelly's and if she says you're great, well that's good enough for me.

I also watched Buffy and Angel, and shipped them around with bunches of folks. (I'm a bit of a ship-whore) Cordy was my favorite character up until after Birthday which is when the narrative fell apart and completely lost me. I love BSG, and am looking forward to Bones, Have become addicted to Stargate and Farscape this year and have had to catch up with the fandoms. I write, and draw and make icons and t-shirts.

Anyway, enough about me. I'm looking forward to learning more about you. Do you mind if I friend you?

It's not really a question of minding, it's more like 'ohmygodyespleasepleaseplease.'
I'm boring, really, and I babble a lot. But I love Cordelia Chase, and C/A, although I don't consider anything after Birthday canon. That's where Ats ended for me, though I watched until the end of S4. I missed BSG's season premiere last weekend but hope to catch up, and I will definitely be watching Bones this fall.
I may watch SV this fall, because I have a few years invested in it, but not the kind of investment I gave the Jossverse. If Lana makes more than a casual appearance or someone kicks my Chloe to the curb one more time, and I'll walk away without a lot of bitterness.
And I'll friend you too, if you don't mind?

Babble away. If I'm not babbling I'm spamming with icons and trying to get folks to buy shirts. C/A was my main ship too, but I didn't know if you were C/A or B/A or something else and I didn't want to step on toes, cuz I like my B/A friends. I watched all five seasons of ATS, and I was intrigued by the story they were *trying* to tell. But it was bungled so badly. So yeah. Totally get where you're coming from.

I've actually watched SV from the beginning. Teh Hubbeh is into it, though I managed to miss the last half of last season because I never told him that they came out of reruns. Chloe is my favorite character, then Pappa Lex, then Lex. Lana could go and Lois needs to go back to Metropolis and stay there. I like the actress and the character but not the rape of comic canon.

Besides Sci-Fi Friday, Lost, CSI, House, Nip/Tuck, and The Sheild sort of round out my veiwing week. Throw Bones in there and I'm set.
