I....may have bought the Star Trek novelization at Barnes and Noble today and discovered something interesting. It is clear that Uhura does a lot more than the movie shows. It's also written...almost like it's from a third person POV from the outside looking in. I expected to have some questions cleared up and didn't, despite the added scenes, dialogue and internal narratives.

They should have just made it into a three and a half hour movie and be done with it. We need details in order to be properly obsessed and preoccupied. JJ Abrams is a fanboy, he should have understood this. *chagrined*

Well, just think, now they will have to KEEP making movies in the new franchise and maybe we will get some serious flashbackery to the Academy days with Spock/Uhura. :)

And walking? Already? Wow, he is growing up so fast.
