Okay, okay, I still find Sookie mostly annoying with the butting into other people's business on a regular basis, but omg, I'm finally starting to really like all the other characters and the humor that's starting to come through more naturally.

I love Lafayette so much it leaves a dent in my ribs, but letting Eric in for a V rush was something I'd expect out of Jason Stackhouse, not someone with as much survival instinct as Lafayette. But we'll see where it goes, I suppose.

Jason is, still, a moron. And I wonder if he's going to spend the entire season with the God Freaks.

What's with the food and orgy thing? Does Mary Ann feed from sexual energy or just any kind of 'seven deadly sins' energy?

Oh, I like that end scene. Sookie meeting another mind reader means she's not so special and that makes her more likeable.


And in happyhappyjoyjoy news, I opened a fic today and added 2.5k words to it, for a total of about 3.7k. Go me. \o/

That coffin thing was hilarious. And cool coffins, yes?!

Lafayette didn't let Eric in for the rush. He needed his blood to heal his bullet wound which, as Eric told him, was infected and would lead to his leg falling off if he didn't get it healed. But, I agree, letting him in to do it was probably stupid since it was clear his arm could get through the window and he could have let the guy bleed into a bowl and never touch him. But I have a feeling Eric wouldn't put up with that indignity. :) But, True Blood vamp law is that all he has to do is revoke the permission to enter and he can't get back in.

The Jason and religious stuff - old now. But since the Soldiers of the Sun tried to kidnap Sookie, I'm guessing we will be having a clash soon between the vamps and the camp and Jason will be forced to choose the vamp side to save Sookie or something.

Have you not read any of the True Blood thread at ST? They say Mary Ann is a Maened (sp?) which is related, I think, to Dionysis or that legend. So, yes, she's into orgies and gluttony - I think bascially any over indulgence like that but I haven't paid tons of attention. There's also that link to Pan (the mural she has). What I can't figure out is the pig significance. UNLESS...maybe Daphne is the pig. She told Sam she knows what he is so maybe she's like Sam - a shape shifter. And she showed up at the same time Mary Ann did. She's also got those big scratches on her back which looks like the big horned bull-like creature might have gotten her. Speculation is that the bull creature is Mary Ann, but I'm not so sure.

ITA about the new mind reader. I think Bill won't like it much if Sookie gets closer to this guy.

Oh, I never thought of that. I assumed that Maryanne was the pig but if Daphne was the pig that would be interesting. I can't tell if she's trying to seduce Sam b/c she likes him or b/c she's got orders from Maryanne.

Then again I still can't quite figure out Maryanne's end game. It has something to do with Tara, I just hope it's not getting her pregnant.

In the beginning I thought maybe Maryann was a shapeshifter and she was trying to become a pig. But she couldn't have been *the* pig since she was standing next to it on the road when Tara wrecked. Plus she came up behind the deputy when he saw the pig at her place.

ITA about Tara. She has something special planned for her and I'm afraid it's some kind of demon pregnancy thing *yawn*. But she has a menagerie of animals around her so I'm wondering if she turns people into animals somehow and keeps them as pets/slaves and that's what she has in mind for Tara. Maybe she gets off on the wild animal vibe. :)
