Old Skool fanfic rec

Of the C/A variety, of course.

On the eve of this most fattening of holidays, I offer to all the C/A shippers on my flist this old skool fic by Florrie, one of the OS (original shippers) of Cordelia/Angel (she's also a mod at Stranger Things). It's called Flying with Turkeys and the basic premise is Cordelia sends Angel to the supermarket for supplies the day before Thanksgiving. Given that Angel is a 'bite or avoid' kind of vampire, this fic is ridiculously cute.

By this same writer (Florrie), there's a multi-chaptered fic centering around first Cordelia/Giles and then Angel/Cordelia (I absolutely LOVE when Angel realizes Cordy's hook up and his reaction) here:

And last night I looked up another old school writer, Misty Flores, who wrote some very interesting multichaptered fics centered on Cordelia when BtVS was just a few years old and AtS was on the horizon.

And in particular I enjoyed The Winters' Universe. The first two are Cordelia/Xander, Buffy/Angel but the third one (my favorite one) is Cordelia/Angel. It's very imaginative and well-written. It's one of the very first C/A fics I ever read and it stuck with me for a long time because the premise was, although slightly Mary Sueish, very intriguing to my Cordelia lovin' heart. :D
