I watched the remake of Fright Night the other night. And twice since then....during the same night.

Um, so I liked it.

And now I kinda really want to write some fucked up Amy/Jerry fic.

But knowing me, I'm gonna probably eventually turn it into Angelus/Cordelia fic. Cuz they live underneath every creative thing I think of and produce.

But right now, I want some Amy/Jerry fucked up, dirty, painful, abusive fic.

This was unexpected.

Thanks for the reminder, going to add it to my queue.

When vampire Jerry bites? It's everything a vampire bite should be and never was until now. I love Marti Noxon.

I love Jerry so much! So muh-muh-much!

And Amy/Jerry or Angelus/Cordy, I'm fine either way :)

Oh God, bb. Jerry makes me all weak in the nether regions, he really does. He's hot and unequivocally evil.

And I'm not even a fan of Colin Farrell.

I hate Colin Farrell from the bottom of my heart, then he comes along with Jerry. He supports my theory that you need to be a sleazoid in some capacity to play a convincing vampire. Because IRL I would not tap that in any capacity.

Explains DB, doesn't it? And JM. LOL

DB is a dog. He will always make me weak with lust but he's a dog. JM likes girls who are barely legal. And even then, if they aren't, it doesn't necessarily keep him up at night, I think. So Colin whatever is just following tradition. I wouldn't hit that either.

Jerry on the other hand - I wouldn't hit, because, like Angelus, he'd as soon kill me as screw me. But still. It'd be almost worth it. Herrr.

I'll add Tom Cruise to this list. Ew to the n-th degree but he did a great Lestat and trust me, I'd love to say otherwise.

I would still hit DB, not gonna lie. Yes, I'm a horrible person -_-

GIIIIIIRL!

I saw it in the theater TWICE and I told the family that the only thing I wanted this year was Fright Night on Blu Ray. Loved it so much that I came back and wrote Peter Vincent/Ginger fic after seeing it the first time.

So good. IT WAS SO GOOD!

I CANNOT WAIT FOR CHRISTMAS SO I CAN HAVE MY BLU RAY COPY OF IT!

Hubby got it from Red Box the other day. I was pissed because I made plans and set time aside to see it in the theater when it first came out, and then found out it wasn't even playing near me. Grr.

So I'm going to get into some heavy charges as I have no plans on returning it to Red Box any time soon.

Jerry is making me seriously swoon. He's hot and evil and hot and soooo evil. Did I mention completely lacking in sentiment or anything resembling a soul? SOOOO refreshing after the last few years. And since Marti wrote the screenplay, the girls in the movie have more than the usual agency.

This was exactly what I needed to recharge my batteries. :)

I love when Charlie's mom kicks Jerry's ass with the rental sign. I totally cheered. And I FLOVE Toni Collette. She is seriously one of my favorite actress so I was so happy to see her in this.

And Jerry is totally what vampires should be. Completely and totally evil and unrepentant. Colin Farrell is such a dirtbag so he does it so well.

You should just go buy it. LOL I think Target and Best Buy had it for around 15. It might be cheaper than keeping it from Red Box. :)

I can't wait to see what your batteries produce. Maybe some more darkness for Persephone too?

My favorite part was all the bite scenes, because who am I but a girl with a serious bite kink? Vampire movies tend to do them so overdramatically, though, I get second hand embarrassment. Jerry, otoh, umph. It's not about the girl, it's about her having something he wants, so she's completely incidental. With Doris, it was the way he kind of cradled her with his legs and leaned over her, drawing out the moment because he loves the scent of her fear so much (he's big on the scents people give off, I noticed), and then his teeth just sort of come out and he latches on. It's understated. And what makes me care about Doris the go-go dancer is when Jerry is feeding on her, and you can tell it hurts so much, but she keeps her eyes on Charley and lifts her finger to her lips in a shushing motion. Doris was a brave, brave girl. She wasn't just another nameless stripper, she was Charley's neighbor and she knew Charley was her only way out of Jerry's house so she takes somewhat charge of her own rescue by keeping him from revealing himself. I loved that small little part.

But then, I seemed to have loved all the parts. :)

It did produce some ideas for Persephone, actually. I was thinking about writing something about Amy going back to Jerry's lair after he's slain, because she can still remember what it was like under his thrall and then I realized I was already writing something like that, LOL. So yeah, batteries are on and humming.

And doesn't that sound seriously dirty?? :)

It does sound dirty but we like it that way! :)

I can't wait until I can watch it again. I really kind of want to go rent it tonight but I have a feeling I will get outvoted.

I loved Doris too but IDK why but Ginger was my all time fave coming out of there. You can tell Marti wrote it because the Ginger/Peter scenes were straight up Spuffy-tastic. LOL It reminded me so much of Out. For. A. Walk. Bitch.

I'm seriously excited though cause you know I will LOVE any Jerry/Amy you write and will devour it with gusto, my real passion is my Cordelia/Angel(us).

And I missed you so much! I feel like we haven't talked or connected in ages! :(

And that last scene in Jerry's basement lair? Totally straight out of Sleeper.

But Jerry...he's not Spike or even Angel at his crankiest. He's like Ed said in the beginning, he's the shark from Jaws. The movie didn't let me down there, he was completely single minded when he felt threatened.

I think my only disappointment is the reference to him being only 400 years old. At least Chris Sarandon's Jerry was about 1,000. *shrugs*

my real passion is my Cordelia/Angel(us).

Well, duh. :P

I miss you too, all of you guys. It's so hard to connect when RL gets as hectic as it's been for all of us. But I'm still here, anytime. And Debs too. :)
