When you finally come back it will come to the surface.
I know that sounds like new age claptrap, but it works for me.
(1) I'll give you three outrageous prompts. You turn them into an over-the-top, balls-to-the-wall, no-holds-barred drabble. No judging, no editing, just total freeform fun.
(2) Go do something else, like answer that 33-question thingy I just put up on my LJ. (Lostakasha, you're invited too!)
The, uh, Nothing Gold Can Stay was a request from me, and she did a fantastic job getting into my head and gakking the picture. I love it more every time I use it.
One thing, I was in your userpics a bit just now to see what you took (slow night on LJ) and the "helping the hopeless" Cordelia icon - that's not Darla she's supporting. It's Bethany, the DID from Untouched. FYI in case you wanted to correct it. If you *can* correct it.
No! Take it, take it. Everything on my userpics is shareable. I just like to brag about Debs making it for me, is all. You have no idea what I've put that woman through. :P
And yeah, if that were Darla, Cordelia would have probably just helped her over to an open manhole, and dropped her in.
Darla was doing her succubus act in Untouched though, which is probably why you were thinking of her, until Bethany interrupted.
I won't say I'm an Angel/Darla shipper (there are several on LJ that would probably hunt me down and take me out if I said I was), but at least with Darla I understand the connection. Blood, family, lust, etc. She made him a vampire, the things he did as Angelus were in part to live up to her expectations and then surpass them. Even their rough sex was hot. So I get where you're coming from.
But Cordelia. She'd still drop Darla down a manhole if she knew that The Blond v. 1.0 was fucking with Angel's mind right then. That's why I like her - she's saucy. :D
