I was just watching Fear, the '96 movie with Mark Walhberg and Reese Witherspoon - the scene with their big date, Wild Horses is playing in the background and I can't help but laugh because the story is about innocent Reese going out with a seemingly nice young man whose evilness is gradually revealed, especially after their first time together, and after they break up, he escalates in terrorizing her, and spends the last few minutes of the movie trying to kill her and her family.

Superficial resemblence only, but it amused me regardless.

Picked up JR Ward's new Blackdagger Brotherhood book today. \o/

I love her books, the language/vocabulary her characters use, and the fact that it isn't three hundred plus pages of blood claiming and mystical bonds, and it's as much about how the brothers are with each other and the society around them as much as it's romance between one of the Brothers and a woman. And none of the vamps had to dress in velvet or lace.

Paying attention, LKH?

I took a test today, much like the SATs, and man, math still sucks as much as it did when I took it in high school.

Fear = creepy Wahlberg. Which Wild Horses? Stones or Bedingfield? I guess the Stones since I don't think Bedingfield's song was around in '95-'96. Either one works for the movie.

So, the test. How do you feel about it on the whole? Do you think you did well? *crosses fingers*

It was a hundred questions, and it took nearly every minute of the two hours they allowed. I actually think I did okay, but some of the math questions....if I don't have plenty of paper, time and reference material, I just don't do well in that area. Especially fractions. I don't think my brain is built that way. But, it was a small part of the test the rest was grammar, vocabulary, word problems and things like that - easy stuff. If I had to guess, I'd probably guess I got around twenty questions wrong. Hopefully, it'll be enough to get me in the first group ranking. We'll see. I won't know for six weeks. *crosses fingers*

It was the same Wild Horses that played at Buffy's prom, during Buffy and Angel's dance. Walhberg was a such a poop in that movie, and it turned into a pissing contest between his character and the father character, with helpless Reese in the middle. Alyssa Milano gets to play the typical bad girl/ho. I liked Cruel Intentions better. *g*

I watched that film a few nights ago at my sisters and laughed too when I watched it. Not that it was nice when the kid went evil or anything but... Wild Horses, sinister young man who was once nice, terrorising the family and chopping of the dogs head (Willow's fish!)... Heh. Superficial? Yes, but I noticed too.

Also, seeing Gil Grissom minus the beard was weeeeird.

*squishes thee!* :)

Oh, God. I forgot about the doggie!

Stupid Walhberg.

But hey, I'm glad I'm not the only one to notice.

*squishes you*
