I just downloaded the eppy last night. I must watch it as soon as I get home.
Lila's addiction is to drama? I'll wait to watch to see what that means exactly but I'm guessing you mean she gets off on causing problems. Or does she just like Broadway! ;)
I missed last week's eppy and then lost the first ten minutes of this one. But the last five minutes will show you.
Lila bugs me anyway, what with the creepy skinnyness, the bare way she dresses and - and - even her accent. Worse than Rita. Rita has moments, increasing in momentum since the beginning of the season, where she shows some personality, but Lila is like this void of pretention that latched onto Dexter like a parasite and continues to siphon from him.
Eww, I'm over Lila, too. I hate manipulating bitches, which is weird because I love how Dexter manipulated Doakes. But Doakes deserves whatever Dex can toss at him. Big asshole.
I didn't think I'd like Rita much from the beginning, but compared to Lila she's charming. Maybe it's the kids that make me want him with Rita since he seems to truly care about them.
I think Dexter made a big mistake with the manifesto. He should have known that no matter how he tried to disguise it, they would eventually deduce something true from it. I don't want them to catch him! *gulp*
Without having seen last week's episode, I think that Dexter made the mistake of thinking he's smarter than the cops. The more he tries to throw them off, the more clues he will give them to who he is. The best thing for him to do is to go silent running - no contact, no nothing. Let the trail go cold.
I don't want Dexter caught either, I'm really starting to like him. I think his hope this season will be that Carter goes off the deep end, or Deb fucks things up by becoming involved with Carter. Carter's smart. I like how he realized Dexter's manifesto was bullshit, and how the killer was probably law enforcement. But there's something slightly off about the guy - he always looks like he's listening to a song only he can hear. Hopefully, that'll be what saves Dexter.
I am ready for Lila to be gone already. She's poison.
Loved how involved Dexter is with Rita's kids, how comfortable he makes her son about the speech in school.
Doaks doesn't know it, but he's playing a dangerous game. I sort of like how intense he is but I don't like how he keeps poking at Dexter. I loved Dexter's warning to him right before he headbutts the guy. I don't think he even felt it, truthfully. And I think it's telling that Dexter is trying to nuetralize Doaks without having to kill him.
