It's just so embarrassing

samsomAnd yet I can't seem to stop from sharing.
I was never a drinker of alcohol, and I can safely say I haven't had anything stronger than rum-filled chocolate in close to six years, but even I'm rolling my eyes. I took a sip - a sip - of my brother's beer tonight, because I wanted to taste what lime flavored beer was like, and I got buzzed. Damn thing went straight to my head as if I'd chugged a bottle of JD.
Had to hide it from my brother and husband because they're already pretty obnoxious about the fact that I need a step stool to reach the lower parts of my upper cabinets. I felt no need to give them more ammo.
Boboli needs to rethink using sourdough for their pizza bread - it just doesn't taste as good.
Which reminds me, I was watching the travel channel one weekend recently, and they were doing a special on pizza. So humor me if you're bored, which do you all prefer - Chicago-style deep dish or a traditional New York pie?

Date: 2008-08-25 03:52 pm (UTC)So I never had a tolerance and I haven't really met an alcoholic drink I've liked so I didn't ever want to go and drink for the sake of drinking.
But the bright side, like you said, is that it takes less than ten dollars to get me wasted. And when I'm wasted, I get really friendly with people I trust. O_O Yet another reason not to. :D
