I can't believe I'm watching The Way We Were.

And liking it.

Earlier, I spent four hours watching Voyager clips on YouTube.

My conclusion?

Tuvok is hot.

I'd love to buy the dvds but Paramount is on crack if they think I'm springing $100+ a season. I don't love anything that much.

Voyager is great! A friend of hubby's had the lot on VHS, and he lent them to us. It took me until Season 4 to get into it, but then I was hooked! My favourite is the doctor - I mean "Emergency Command Hologram." *snorfle* You're right about Paramount overcharging for the DVD sets. They were specialing some of the early seasons for $65 NZ each (about $45 US) a while back, but normally they're about $150.00. Not impressed, seeing as lately I've picked up seasons of Friends and Quantum leap for $28 NZ each.

At Target, I can pick up Friends for $20 US, and at Best Buy I can get any season of Buffy or Angel for $33 US.

Paramount is drunk on its own power (20 years past expiration) if they think I'm shelling at $150 US for any season of their product.

I would love to own Voyager, because emotionally, it's the Trek I respond to, but I couldn't justify their asking price.

"Emergency Command Hologram." HEE! Don't forget the pips that pop out of his collar when he activates the program. It's Harry's favorite part. :D

I agree with your opinion of Voyager. I quite liked TNG, and tried to get into Enterprise and DS9 with no success, but Voyager was the only one I totally fanned. I think the "stranded far from home" premise gave them a family vibe the others didn't have.

I'd love to own the DVD's. Hubby's been hiring the early seasons from our version of Netflix. I shall say no more for fear of incriminating myself. *cough, cough*
